"Finally, I can get rid of you pest!" she snarled. Crystal backed away and let out a yelp. The wolf stepped closer and closer as Crystal backed away into the shadows. She snarled then jumped at Crystal.
Crystal jumped up and gasped for air. She looked around but saw she was in the den.
"It was just a dream..." she whispered. She looked up and saw her brother Declan walking out of the den.
"Where are you going?" Crystal asked him.
"To hang out with my friends." he said, not looking back at her.
"No, you aren't coming with me." he interrupted

"Oh, I just thought you should go and make some friends." Willow said softly.

Crystal Clear: PrologueThe sun came up and warmed the air as a yellow wolf ran next to the river. She jumped at an elk and bit its back leg, taking it down. She finished it off and smiled to herself. She bent down to grab it but stopped when she heard a soft squeak. She turned and saw a black pup on the river bank. She gasped as she walked forward and sniffed the pup.
