Iris Equus

Translates to rainbow horse.
The colorful equines were found in mountains. Many have been tamed but there are still some small wild herds. The are built like drafts and usually have very long manes and tails. Also, they usually have feathering. They always are the color of a rainbow except the colors might be in a different order or they might have white markings. Their colors are very bright when they are happy but when they are sad or angry their colors become dull. Their eyes are either rainbow, any other color, or very rarely, white.
Iris Equus are usually always happy. It is hard to make them upset. They are very patient horses and are easy to train. They are very kind as well. They love to be pet and try their best to please their owners. They are very, very loyal horses. The only time they will defend themselves is if they have to. But they will die for their owners in a heartbeat. There is only two known cases of them going insane and those two were experimented on. After many people died from the two experiments, they decided it was too dangerous to do experiments on the colorful horses.
